I’ve always been one that’s been into fitness and always active. From a young age I enjoyed PE in school, I was on the Athletics team but then later on in life things started to take priority, I couldn’t ‘find the time’ to train, I didn’t believe I was ‘that big’ plus I had a muscular stature that could mask things.
In 2010 I found myself out of work and needed something to occupy my time and keep me off the streets! I started going to the gym now and again then found myself in the gym twice a day! I took up Muay Thai because I heard it was a challenge and I definitely wanted a change in my routine, I went back to athletics and also incorporated weight training in my regime. Till date I’m still doing Muay Thai, Athletics and Weight training. I will not lie to you and say that it’s easy, I will not lie to you and say that you’ll see changes straight away, I will not lie to you and say the change of diet has not be been difficult, I will not lie to you and say that going to work and then having the energy to go gym is mind battling at times BUTTTTT if ur goals, dreams and aspirations are worth while and YOU want it badly believe me when I say you’ll find the time and find the energy to work out! I’ve had set backs but I didn’t let that hold me back. I picked myself up and continued from where I left off. Like I always say… It never gets easier, YOU get better!
